Eva

This top was forgotten in an attic and ended up at Reawaken Quilts. She had lots of little defects, stained, and was really dirty. She is a very scrappy quilt and completely hand-pieced, full of beautiful vintage prints that you won't to find anywhere else. We're not quilt top dating experts but we estimate she was put together sometime in the 1930's or 1940's. She has been carefully cleaned and mended. We quilted Eva with modern 40-wt polyester thread for strength. We used brand new 100% natural cotton batting and a new old-stock vintage bedsheet for the back. She was edge-to-edge quilted with the Feathered Party pattern from Anne Bright Designs and given a fancy new binding.
