Autumn

What a gorgeous two-color quilt!  The top was spectacular and put together with amazing precision.  I can imagine that her maker made many quilts before making Autumn.  As many vintage quilts show us that we can make do with what we have,  Autumn falls into that category. 

She has five little square orange blocks that are pieced to make their perfect size.  She must have been at the end of her orange fabric because you can see the smallest bit of the selvedge in those five tiny squares.  You can see this in the photos.  Autumn is one of my favorite quilts that we have reawakened.  She is so soft, her colors are stunning and she will add so much to your home.
